How does the AI connect?
MCP—Model Context Protocol—is an open standard that lets an AI discover approved tools and request specific information when it needs it.

The production endpoint uses Streamable HTTP. Compatible clients discover nine read-only SignalIQ tools. OAuth is available for ChatGPT; Claude can connect with a revocable bearer credential.
Every request validates the credential, organisation, project and granted scopes before a tool calls a tenant-bound database function. Tool use is logged. Read access does not grant write access.
Two ways to connect
Both paths use the same tenant and project boundary. Choose the workflow that feels natural to you.
Dashboard chat
Choose ChatGPT or Claude, switch models and answer style at any time, and ask in plain English or technical detail. The chat can render structured metrics, tables and simple charts from supported evidence.
MCP connection
Add the SignalIQ MCP connection from dashboard settings. Your AI can discover the approved read-only tools, request relevant project evidence and explain what it found without receiving unrestricted database access.
