Google Ads intelligence

Every search term, every negative, every dollar, read against the outcome.

Signal reads your Google Ads account every night into evidence tables and analyses it against your search, page and outcome data. The Signal team then makes the agreed changes and records them.

What is analysed

Nine views of one account

Campaign to search term

Campaign, ad group, keyword and the words actually typed, read as one chain rather than four reports.

Intent against ad and page

Does the ad say what was searched, and does the landing page deliver it?

Spend against outcome

Cost against qualified enquiry, booking or sale, completed service and paid revenue, where those are connected.

Negative keyword conflicts

Every negative classified nightly: redundant, scope problem, no observed effect, possible overblock, high-value overblock, safe block.

Location, device, hour, audience, page, service

Where the same spend performs differently, and by how much.

Budget pacing and concentration

Whether budget is constrained, where it concentrates, and what that starves.

Conversion-action health

Accuracy, ownership, freshness and duplication of every conversion action in the account.

Brand versus non-brand

Familiarity separated from growth so a good month is not mistaken for a good campaign.

Google-attributed against Signal-verified

Two columns, kept apart. A platform conversion is never presented as a verified customer.

Negative keywords

Each negative is classified against the search terms it touched

This is the vocabulary the nightly analysis uses. The word carries the state; the colour only repeats it.

  • Safe blockblocked terms that never convertedKeep
  • Redundant negativealready blocked by another negativeTidy
  • Scope problemapplied at a level that does not match the campaignReview
  • Possible overblockblocked terms with clicks and no observed outcomeReview
  • High-value overblockblocked terms that had convertedFix
  • No observed effectno matching search term in the windowUnknown

The simulator

Before a negative is added or removed, the analysis shows which real search terms it would block or unblock, with their clicks, cost and conversions in the window. It works on the evidence already read from the account and sends nothing to Google.

What this never does

The lines the analysis does not cross

No change is made to the account by SignalIQ. A test in the codebase fails the build if a write call is ever added.
Clicks, forms, CRM stages and Google conversions are not treated as paid customers without proof from the canonical source.
Unknown history is not turned into attribution. What cannot be joined stays Unknown.

The capabilities behind this page

Google Ads reads

Live

Campaigns, ad groups, keywords, negatives, search terms, conversion actions and change history read into evidence tables. Nothing is written back.

Negative keyword analysis

Live

Every negative keyword is classified nightly against the real search terms it touched: redundant, scope problem, no observed effect, possible or high-value overblock, safe block.

Ranked opportunities

Live

Search and website findings are turned into ranked actions with impact, effort and risk, refreshed nightly.

Automated Google Ads changes

Planned

SignalIQ makes no changes to any ad account. A test in the codebase fails the build if a write call is ever added. The Signal team makes agreed changes by hand.

Signal managed execution

Live

With authorised access and agreed guardrails, the Signal team makes campaign, keyword, budget, landing page, tracking and content changes now, and records each one.

Change and verification record

Partial

Website fixes are recorded with who selected them, when they were deployed and a re-scan verdict. An approval step and an observation window are not yet recorded.
