Where customers go missing · Counted

Open a customer who paid you last month. Which campaign did they come from? SignalIQ follows one lead through five hops, from the click to the payment, and shows the hop where the source dies.

The problem

Google Ads claims the sale. Google Analytics calls the visit direct. The CRM says website. The payment system knows nothing about any of them. Each hop drops the identifier the one before it carried.

Source to Sale

One identifier is attached at the click and has to be copied, unchanged, through every hop after it. Where a hop is done by hand, the source dies unless someone is told to carry it. The Business Audit asks about each hop, channel by channel: Google Ads, Meta and Instagram, your Google Business Profile, your website, WhatsApp and the phone.

  1. Hop 1

    Click

The ad click lands on your site with a click id or a campaign tag in the address.

Where it dies. Auto-tagging is off, the final URL has no tag, or the landing page drops the address when it redirects.

  2. Hop 2

    Enquiry

The form, the WhatsApp link, the call or the booking link carries that same tag onward.

Where it dies. The form has no hidden fields, the WhatsApp message is a generic hello, or one phone number rings for every channel.

  3. Hop 3

    Lead record

The tag is stored as fields on the lead: source, campaign, ad, landing page, click id.

Where it dies. A person types the lead in and nobody told them to copy the source.

  4. Hop 4

    Won

The source is still on the record when the sale is marked won, with the date and the value.

Where it dies. The won deal is a separate record that inherits nothing from the contact.

  5. Hop 5

    Money

The payment in your POS, booking system, Xero or Stripe is linked to that contact by email, phone or customer id.

Where it dies. The payment system and the CRM share no key, so the two can never be joined.

On your Signal Map

Real · 23 October 2026

One lane per channel a lead can start on, one cell per hop. A lane is coloured up to the cell where the source dies and grey after it. Press a cell and the map says what you told us, what is missing, and the module on Your solution that fills the gap.

The trace strip on a client's Signal Map: rows for Google Ads, Meta and Instagram, Business Profile, Website enquiry, WhatsApp and Phone; columns for Click, Enquiry, Lead record, Won and Money. Each cell is marked proven, claimed, lost here, not used or not answered, and the break panel under the strip explains the selected cell.
The trace strip on /app/signal-map at signaliq-dev.safetykat.com, as a signed-in client sees it.

A yes is a claim

It stays amber until an export or a connected account proves it.

A no is a break

The lane goes red at that hop at once, with your answer as the evidence.

Not sure stays Unknown

It is never counted as healthy. The cell shows the proof that would settle it.

SignalIQ reads no CRM, booking system or payment system yet. The verdicts on the strip come from your own answers in the Business Audit. Where the website scan or your connected Google Ads account can see a hop, that measured value is shown instead of asking you. A break where you have no tool for the hop opens a gap, and Your solution names the module that fills it.

We fix it

The Signal team sets up the tagging, the hidden fields and the WhatsApp codes, and keeps every unproven hop marked as a claim until an export proves it.
